Your Morning Nuggets
Happy Thursday. How about a brief tour of the Internet today?
1. Did you know on this day in 1850 California became the 31st state of the union?
1. Did you know on this day in 1850 California became the 31st state of the union?
Bad taste, plastic surgery, and vapid drones were not introduced until about 120 years later.
2. Did you further know, that the constitution of the state of California starts with "We, the People of the State of California, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, in order to secure and perpetuate its blessings, do establish this Constitution."
Hmmm. Almost like California was established as a Christian state. My, those framers must be VERY proud of the heritage their progenies have built.
3. Fidel Castro, he of the perpetual Green Suit, now says that Communism does not work for Cuba.
When asked if Cuba's economic model (communism to those in public education) was worth exporting to other countries, the man who killed to be king said "The Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore." Wow. Please take off your Che Guevara shirts now and grow up.

4.And speaking of Communism, I mean, California... Barbara "Call me Senator" Boxer has the BEST office... on weed.
Her senior aide Marcus "Redeye" Stanley was nabbed by Capitol Police on Tuesday for trying to get some pot (marijuana, weed, grass. for those in public education) into the Senate Office Building. It is hard to tell kids that weed is bad for you when Marcus McStoney has been a congressional staffer since 2007 and is making a six-figure paycheck. Of course, if I had to listen to Barbara "I am your Queen" Boxer all day, every day, I would want to have some special tea to start my day, too.
5. And finally, the INSULT OF THE DAY.This one is nearly too easy. A judge in New Jersey told Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, (she of Jersey Shore "fame") that she was "acting like a Lindsay Lohan wannabe". That is so classic and epic, I cannot even insult her beyond that. I mean, sure, "Snooki" probably had to run out and find someone to tell her what "Wannabe" meant, but after that little hurdle was conquered I am sure she took the advice to heart and dedicated to become a better person.Sure.
And that is the internet today, Thursday the 9th of September. A wasteland of wasted public servants, sub-Lohan Snookies, and failed Communism.
Go forth and conquer!

Ahhh, the morning zen.
This is better than a cup of fresh coffee and a cancer-free cigarette!
Enjoy.

Just saying…
I realized today a rather simple truth.
I have never, NEVER, left a friend behind.
I bring them along in my life, in my business, in my world.
By and large, when things get rough, they run away, like rats from a sinking ship.
I could name them here, but that is besides the point. They know who they are.
Every single one of them that takes off is an unspoken insult. It is as if they are saying “I trust you, as long as things are easy. Once the real work starts, though, I am out of here.”

It’s coming….
… to a head. Or something.
I am going to resurrect this blog in the next few weeks… so stay tuned for updates.

Reality
Quite the week we've had wouldn't you say? Some amazing football games a new President meeting with the old and world leaders offering up support of the new administration. Conservatives are out in droves telling their constituency what we already knew about why we have a new party in control. Even the "mainstream media" conceited to the bias attributed to them by the "right wing" talk radio crowd.
What a time to live in when an under qualified, over educated, South Side Chicago cut throat blow hard can become elected President of the United States of America by a those who have fought to silence free speech, eliminate religion and "re-educate" our kids..
....?!??!!!......(confused look on his face)
How in the (expletive deleted) did we get here. A place where praying is outlawed, our representatives are doing more to protect their pockets than to protect their constituency, the public education system is doing a better job teaching our children how have sex than teaching then how to read, and paying taxes is somehow a matter of moral obligation rather than civic duty.
I guess it makes some sense when you look at it from a secular socialistic perspective. If you can replace faith in the good of your fellow man with faith in a governing body that distributes open-ended promissory notes, i.e. cash, you can effectively implement a reward-for-behavior program and gain the highly coveted upper hand on an entire demographic, i.e. those who desire cash.
Now don't get me wrong, I certainly understand the appeal and logic behind socialism. Who wouldn't want to live in a society where everyone agrees with one another and you are guaranteed a full life span by way of Government assistance or "welfare." imagine not having any responsibility to society to produce anything. I mean, what a utopia right? You are only beholden to the governing body that pays you to breathe. If they need you to do something they will tell you exactly what it is so as to keep you from overworking your sensitive wittle brwains.
Are you (expletive deleted) kidding me?
I know quite a number of people from all over the globe and never have I come across anyone who aspires to live under these kinds of conditions. As a matter of fact, a majority of people whom I have met from a society governed by similar rules tells me stories of running from just such a life.
It is no secret that America is the greatest nation on the earth. From productivity, to standard of living, to opportunity for growth, to generosity of spirit it is undeniable that we as Americans are better at governing ourselves under a constitutional democracy than any other nation. The free market system works if it is allowed to work. Taking resources from the most productive and giving those resources to the least productive by way of legislation is nothing short (at least in my opinion) of theft. Just because the exchange is done in broad daylight without a gun doesn't mean the intimidation factor can be ruled out.
I am not accusing the new administration of mal-intent because I don't want to believe that he is made up of the worst of stuff. Call me naive, but I am still a believer in prayer and it's usefulness in affecting "change." Does that mean that I would be surprised if he did implement a far left socialist agenda across the board up to and including climate change, education, healthcare, labor unions etc...? Absolutely not. I tend to "suspend disbelief" (Thank you H. Clinton) when listening to the vomit that spews from politicians mouths. Here's the great thing about America though. In four years we can change it. If we really don't like him we can have him impeached.
So what's the problem?
My opinion, complacency. We as Americans have merely accepted the fact that our politicians are lying to us and we have stopped proactively trying to affect change. We have indeed gotten what we deserve. The blind following of party rather than principles has opened the door for a brand of secular morality that has justifies the comparison of porn to the news organizations that have been deemed by independent research groups as the most fair and balanced of all the major cable news program. (Click) A comparison that reminds me of very specific lesson in the book of Proverbs where the writer says, and I am paraphrasing, beware of those who tell you that the truth is a lie.
We are more in need of coming to an agreement on what reality is than we are in need of a government that wants to raise taxes in the middle of an economic down turn to pay for $1 trillion in new spending which includes giving checks to those who pay no taxes.
So I ask you, my good people, what is reality?

Your Tax Money
Consider the following:
If you earn more than $250k per year of personal income your taxes will go up.
If you own a business that generates more than $250k per year in revenue your business taxes will go up.
If your investments earn more than $250k per year your taxes go up.
If you earn less than $250k you will receive a check or tax rebate for $500-$2000 worth of taxpayer money.
Hers a scenario:
As a business owner of a company that generates more than $250k in revenue it is not unreasonable to expect that you take about 10% of that as personal income. If you take more, fine. If you take less, fine. Lets just work with 10% for the purpose of easy math. This means you are taking home $25k a year. The rest of the company’s revenues assumedly are being put back into the company to meet recurring COS and discretionary investments. This likely means that you have a great deal of money tied up in market, which we all know, hasn't been performing up to par. If your business taxes go up your company takes a hit, which means your personal income takes a hit. After this your market investment returns will take a hit with the capital gains tax increase. Heaven forbid you should have anyone on staff earning more than $250K per year for the sake of your payroll accounts. Across the board you are looking at an average tax increase of 15%.
With the market playing the dying dame in a cheesy 1930's suspense film can you really operate with 15% less than you have now?
Those of you who have worked hard at saving and being responsible with your family’s money will find out very soon.
Those of you who have been under hard times for “reason beyond your control” will be getting some much desired entitlement funding from your government.
Those of you who find yourselves in situations where a clear advantage was capitalized upon via a predatory business practice will find no place else to turn other than your government as the necessary competitive environment of the business world has been nationalized as of October 2008.
Those of you who find yourselves with the next great financial idea that will stabilize economic volatility to within a specific and predictable algorithm will find that your ideas will need to pass excruciating government scrutiny in order to be heard.
Those of you who have been “in bed” with your government in the interest of serving the greater good of yourself or your represented company will indeed find yourselves in prime position to take over various parts of American life that generate revenue.
Oh wait a minute? That’s already happened.
Well, what does it matter anyway, right? It's worth it to say you were on the side of the history makers when history was made.
Isn’t it? @*%#*(
Thanks for reading.

Michael

Barack's Nuts
In an act of lunacy, the country seems to be swinging toward an Obama Presidency. Why is this an act of lunacy?
Consider this, my silly little friends...
The group called ACORN (Association of Community Organization for Reform Now) has been around since about 1970, or 6 years before yours truly was plopped into this world as a gift to all of you. ACORN does fun things with government grants.
A few examples, you may ask?
Well, they are what would be called agitators. They hold rallies, demonstrations, protests, and they pay lobbyists to go the Capitol Hill and lobby for... well, larger government. For those of you in Oklahoma, that is like feeding a cow the carcass of another cow to make that one cow larger. Not only is it a bit disgusting (cow cannibalism is not good) but it is also a TERRIBLE idea. This, after all, is where Mad Cow disease comes from. So, ACORN essentially is trying to create Mad Government disease. I think they are doing great.
According to the Wall Street Journal, ACORN really wants things like "affordable housing", "tax justice" and lower credit standards.
LISTEN CLOSELY.
ACORN pushed banks to make home loans on easy terms. They would conduct strikes on banks so that the banks would lower credit standards. HOW? They got their 350,000 members to raise petitions, protests, pickets, even advocating the boycott of making deposits to banks, until the banks agreed to lower their credit rules. The result? Umm, I think Joey Biden called it the Subprime Meltdown. Hunh. Nice.
Or, how about this, the WSJ reports that ACORN did all of this with, well, let's be honest, tax money.
In other words, you and I paid for ACORN to eff-up the mortgage business, and drive banks to the point of ruin. Now, you and I get to pay to fix the mess that ACORN pretty much created. LOVELY.
"What, pray tell, does this have to do with Barack Obama, my own personal messiah", you may ask?
Good question, or Bien Pregunta, for those of you who don't like border control.
ACORN loves electing liberal politicians to office. Barack Obama is a liberal. (nothing wrong with that, by the way, just pointing out a fact)
ACORN boasted recently on their website that they added about 1.3 million Dems to the voting rolls. (For those in Tennessee, a voting roll is pretty much a list of people registered to vote, not a cookie with the candidate's face on it)
Now, we see the issue. In Michigan, ACORN submitted "a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications". In Nevada, ACORN submitted registrations with false names and fictional addresses, some of which were the starting lineup for the Dallas Cowboys and one for Mickey Mouse. The County Registrar of Voters in Nevada's Clark County says he sees 2,000 to 3,000 fraudulent applications from ACORN each week.
In Ohio, Florida, New Mexico, North Carolina and Missouri, ACORN is under investigation Wisconson is investigating ACORN for making people up or registering people still in prison. THERE IS MORE, but I don't want to keep typing it, I am getting sick.
This brings us to Oh-holy Obama. Barack, as me and the boys in the hood call him, began his rise to fame as a community organizer with... ohhh, you guessed it, ACORN. In November he really gave it to ACORN, saying they made a huge difference in Project Vote in 1992. Big B also was a lawyer for ACORN in 1995, suing the state of Illinois to increase access to the polls.
While B was on the board of the CWF, they organization gave more than $200K to ACORN. His campaign gave $832K to an ACORN affiliate just a few weeks ago. The campaign said it was for staging, sound and lighting. Later they admitted the cash was to get out the vote.
ACORN, in their defense, will say that they cannot be held accountable for voter fraud. They hire people to go and recruit voters, and ACORN cannot be held responsible for the actions of who they hire.
Really?
Yes, really. It's on their website. Under "Bogus Voter Fraud Charges".
They also mention on that page "Fact: Our accusers not only fail to provide any evidence, they fail to suggest a motive: ..."
OH! Me, pick me! I have one for you!
If the Voting Rolls show more voters, and those voters are registered as Dems, the likelihood of having an Obama Presidency seems nearly certain. I mean, 1.3 million new Dem voters HAS to equal Slammin' B getting the presidency? Right?
How many stories have you read or heard about Obama bringing so many new voters to the rolls? How many "new" people are registering as vote as Democrats, how Obama has energized people to register for the first time and vote Democrat? Well, Aug 11, 2008, McClathydc.com reports that black voter registration swelled,k and this would point to an Obama win. Or, Sep 20, 2008, Jacksonville.com reports that "Political interest swells for Obama ... New voter registration forms are pouring into the elections office...". The Boston Globe, Vldosta Daily Times, AccessnorthGa.com and many more report the same thing. So, my motive?
If all this "Swelling" goes on, and people read about it, when does the herd mentality kick in, and undecided wussy voters go for Obama because they want to be part of the swell?
Is this really who you want running our country? Is this the kind of man, the kind of morals, the kind of ethics you want in our Oval Office? Are we so desperate to screw the rich and get a handout that we will put this kind of immoral, unethical, integrable person into the highest position of power? PLEASE, think carefully before you answer that one. Is "free" healthcare, big government spending, and higher taxes on the "rich" really what you want? What will happen, when Big B has power?
As you mull your unintelligible answer and build your wall of denial, think this fact over.
And yes, this is a fact.
Democrats tried to add the "Affordable Housing" provision into the recent $700 BILLION bank rescue package (remember, that package is needed thanks to ACORN's actions) that would have let politicians give even more money to ACORN than the $16 million in Federal Funds they have already received in the last ten years.
Consider this, my silly little friends...
